"Duo" is the joint exhibition of the artists Xiao Hui Wang and Ma Shu Qing. These two esteemed artists and long-time friends will exhibit their works together for the first time in a unique 1930’s Shanghai venue, Shang Fang Garden Villa. The exhibition presents both artists’ dialogue with the feminine. Each artist translates this dialogue in their particular medium—Ma Shuqing through oil painting and watercolor, and Xiao Hui Wang through video and photography.

The partnership between artist Xiao Hui Wang and curator Elisabeth de Brabant continues in Shang Fang Garden Villa, the venue in which Elisabeth first curated a solo exhibition of Xiao Hui Wang in 2008.
