Isolated Paradise is an exclusive solo exhibition of the artist Xiao Hui Wang, who lives in both Shanghai and Munich. The exhibition is a comprehensive presentation of her latest works (photography, sculptures and multimedia arts). The artist’s central focus concerns the female being and the feminine essential. Her dialogue asks us to consider what we assume and what is not obvious. Isolated Paradise is curated by Elisabeth de Brabant. She is a curator and consultant who pushes the boundaries of conventional paradigms for understanding art, and presents selective art works through a stimulating lens, one that has never before been seen in Shanghai’s art scene.
