After studies linked with art, environement and communication, Florence Reto started her professional career at Gallimard edition in Paris. During three years, she found the opportunity to express herself through her two passions: design and books.

She took part of the creation of a new Gallimard collection “Folio Benjamin”, and she participated in the conception of several Book fairs: in Paris, Frankfurt and Bologna.

From 1984 to 1988, she started working as free lance for Havas advertising group as well as magazines like “Photo Reporter”, “100 idées” and “Marie-Claire”.

In 1988, she joined one of the major advertising agency in Paris, CLM/BDO. As an Artistic Director of Proximite, she won many awards, among them: Gallimard, BN, Nusty and Maison du Café campaigns.

Florence Reto moved to Shanghai with her family in February 2002. Since then , she has been sharing her time through her three sons, her work as an Image Director for EVE New-York ( a fashion brand ) and her passion for art.

She took sculpture and calligraphy classes for a year, but she found her path through painting instead. She mainly uses soft blend of acrylic and oil.
